With the Exidor 9870SQ door closer it's no longer daunting to install an electro-magnetic or swing free closer to your fire door, and this amazing bit of kit does both.

It's easy to switch between the two modes - if you need your door held open just select the function and it will remain open until it detects the sound of your fire alarm, and once it's detected it will smoothly close to the door to prevent the spread of fire. And if you want the door to behave as though there's no closer there at all and remove the resistance for the young, the elderly, or anyone else who may struggle, the swing free mode will alow the door to move without hindrance until it "hears" the fire alarm. That's an awful lot of functionality in a single fire door closer unit!

The 9870's ability to act as a hold open and swing free unit makes it especially suitable for use in healthcare environments and anywhere people may benefit from a door that is easier to open, or hold safely out of the way, without compromising its ability to close in case of a fire.
