When it isn't practical to run cables but you need a fire door propped open, you need the DG2000 Dorgard from Fireco. These neat little units hold a fire door open with their internal systems always listening out for the alarm, and once they detect a continuous sound of 65dBA or higher the unit activates, releasing the door so that the fire door closer and return it safely to the frame and ensure proper compartmentation.

The Dorgard is the answer to a serious issue of price and practicality in buildings with fire alarms, and  with its quick installation design and and easy setup you can upgrade a closing fire door to a hold-open fire door in very little time.

This unit is supplied in black but is also available in white or red.
